Our Story
Since 1980, the MOONLIGHTERS, an 18-piece big band based in Santa Rosa, California, have been providing traditional Swing Era Big Band music for weddings, club events, benefits, grand openings and other special events in Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties and the San Francisco Bay Area. With a library of music including more than 2500 Big Band arrangements from the 1930's through the 1980's, we can fill your requests and fit your theme. Our mostly acoustic sound is guaranteed to please both your "die hard dancers" and "sit and talkers." We'll play in formal tuxedos or polo shirts and khakis, to suit your event. What Inspires Us
Despite sharing many of the same interests and pastimes, we all are inspired by different things that lead us to work seamlessly in a creative setting. Each member of the band brings years of experience in all aspects of music, education, business and entertainment.

The Band has a rehearsal every Wednesday night. If you are interested in booking the band for your event come hear the band live in Stanroy Music Center at 850 4th Street in Santa Rosa, Ca. We play from 7:00 to 9:00.
